Objectives: Information Technology, Instructional Technology, and Audiovisual Departments are increasingly being held accountable for demonstrating value in the products and services we deliver. How do you do that?

One of the best tools we have is data. By probing for needs, gaps, and trends, you can strengthen your unit's value as more than just a service provider. Thoroughly knowing your market and delivering services and solutions that exceed all expectations will make you and your department the "go to" team players who know how to balance the teaching and learning technology equation.

This workshop will help participants:

  • Identify your audience
  • Define data gathering goals and objectives
  • Create effective survey questions
  • Collect and summarize responses
  • Explore ways to make an impact with the results
